Why Join the Northland Car Club? Whether you're a seasoned racer or a curious novice, joining the Northland Car Club is your ticket to a thrilling community that lives and breathes motorsport. It's a place to push your driving skills to the limit in a safe and controlled environment, surrounded by a community of passionate car enthusiasts. Experience the Rush of Competition The Northland Car Club is about more than just cars; it's about the thrill of competition. Members participate in a variety of fast- paced, timed events throughout the year, including: Motorkhanas:  The perfect test of driver skill and car control, where you'll navigate a course defined by cones and race against the clock. Autocrosses:  A step up in speed from motorkhanas, these events allow you to push your car a little faster, focusing on skill over sheer horsepower. Hillclimbs, BentSprints, Rallysprint:  Experience the ultimate test of speed and focus as you race your vehicle up a challenging, winding course. 1/4 Mile Sprints:  Go head-to-head against the clock in a straight-line blast of acceleration and power. A Club for Every Car and Driver: One of the most exciting things about the Northland Car Club is that you don't need a high-performance, purpose-built vehicle to get involved. Drive your Daily Car:  Many club events, particularly motorkhanas and autocrosses, are designed for standard road cars, giving you a safe way to explore your car's handling limits. All Skill Levels Welcome:  Whether you're an experienced competitor or have never raced before, the club has a place for you. New members can develop their skills in a welcoming environment. Learn and Grow:  As you gain experience, you'll learn from skilled drivers and be able to make performance enhancements to your car that improve your track times. NCC Membership Form: Below is a link to an on-line membership form, filling this in will also submit your details into the Motorsport NZ database. Fill in the form and press submit, you can then pay your membership fee via online banking into the NCC bank account. You will be sent a membership number and a club magazine. NCC Memberships Fees: Full Membership $85 Junior Membership (under18 years of age) $30 Family Membership $130 (+ $15 per child under 18 years old) Event Fees: Motorkhanas: $20 each member $30 each non member 1/4 Mile Sprint: $30 each member $60 each non member Autocrosses: $40min each member $50min each non member (tarmac as advertised) Hillclimbs: $120min each entry Rallysprints: As advertised prior to event Street Sprint: As advertised prior to event Maximum of two clubsport basic events prior to gaining a membership to the club. (which includes motorkhana, autcocross and 1/4 mile sprint)

MotorsportNZ Rule

It is a Motorsport NZ rule that people can do two clubsport basic events (motorkhanas and/or autocrosses) before having to become a member of a car club affiliated with Motorsport NZ. Motorkhana and Autocrosses are enjoyable events to compete in. Compete against family or friends or come along and test your driving skills to beat the more experienced competitors.
